At 30 years old my cardiologist highly recommended me to accept to get an implanted defibrillator: after my father passed away from an heart attack, I was even more at risk now for a sudden death. I now have my own Guardian Angel ready to restart my heart if it need it.
I am lucky to have a strong personality enough to deal with it don’t really mind in my daily life. But, it still changed my female body, and I had to learn to live with it. Especially when I’m intimate with someone.
But now, I’ve been accepted the way I am; I have to explain everything but at the end, the guys don’t mind about it :) I hope that can help you if you have a similar decision to take!
